Since its inception in 1995, Liberty Electronics (2000) Inc.'s mission statement has been to provide its customers with "what they need, when they need it". Based in Woodbridge, Ontario Liberty has been successful not only in the highly competitive independent electronics market providing electronic component needs to its broad range of high technology customers in Canada and the US, but has increasingly been called upon by its customers to act as a sourcing agent for a diverse range of requirements: from printed circuit board manufacture to contract manufacturing services.

Liberty ASG: Key Services for Critical Phases

As demands increased for sourcing services, Liberty recognized the need to expand the range of its capabilities so that it could bring key services to its customers during critical stages of their product development cycles: rapid prototyping, pre-production and small volume manufacturing. To address these demands, Liberty Electronics (2000) Inc. has developed Liberty ASG (Advanced Services Group).

Core Services Representation

Liberty ASG is a specialized group within Liberty's sales organization dedicated to bringing high quality mechanical and electro-mechanical based "core" services to its growing customer base throughout Eastern Canada and the Northern US markets. The services selected by Liberty ASG are focused on the more complex requirements of its customers: from precision machining and sheet metal fabrication to printed circuit board manufacturing through component and system level qualification testing.

Associate Products & Services Representation

In conjunction with the "core" offering, Liberty ASG has also selected other products and services to bring to market that compliment the core services such as: mechanical and electrical engineering design services, military hardware / fasteners, Quality Systems and R&D tax credit consulting.

End to End Solutions

Combined with Liberty Electronics (2000) Inc.'s electronic component sourcing capabilities, Liberty ASG offers our customers end to end solutions: from design, fabrication to testing, and even shipping of products.

Our Principals

Liberty ASG has pre-selected its core group of suppliers based on first hand knowledge of their quality, reliability and commitment to customer service and is taking these suppliers to our customers as their formal manufacturer's representative. Liberty ASG will be managed by John Brennen who, during his 11-year career in Purchasing in the Military / aerospace sector, worked closely with each of the selected suppliers for several years. Liberty ASG will be based at our Ottawa Satellite office.
